When was the last time you brushed your pet’s teeth? We take care of our own teeth and make sure our kids do, but most pet owners are not as diligent with their pets. At Wilson Orthodontics, we want to remind you to pay attention to the dental health of your pet.

Since February is National Pet Dental Health Month, we want to offer some tips offered by The American Veterinary Medical Association.

Ask your veterinarian the next time you take your pet in for a visit how often they recommend cleaning their teeth. Good oral health will increase the lifespan of your pet. Take care of them like you would take care of yourself when it comes to dental care. While February is National Pet Dental Health Month, dental health should be a daily ritual for pet owners all year long.
